Product Description

Short and wide, red/orange tapered roots growing to 12cm by 6.5cm. Ideal for heavy soils. Small cores. Stores well. Sweet and tender. Fast growing.

An immensely popular variety highly recommended as an early maincrop. It is stump rooted with a deep orange colour, smooth skin and solid, thick delicious flesh with a small core. This variety of carrot is classed as a second early.

Growing Info

This is a cool-season annual.  Sow carrots any time of the year, except the extremely hot period of the year and frosty periods. Sow either spring or autumn, in very mild areas all year round is possible. A sunny position is required. It germinates best at 8-28 ‎°C soil temperature. To improve germination, prevent seed rows from drying out by covering with cardboard; remove as soon as seeds germinate. Harvest in 65-90 days.
