Product Description

In Italian, "Costoluto" refers to the flattened and heavily ribbed shape of many of their heirloom tomato varieties. This particular one is from Florence and has been around since the early 1900s. The flavour is sweet and the fruit oh so juicy. A beefsteak slicer, this variety is also perfect cooked down into a sauce or slow roasted. This variety performs well in both warm and cool climates.
