The spinach cultivar 'Matador' is a fast growing high-yield variety with large leaves. It can be re-seeded every two weeks (or as needed) to harvest fresh spinach all year.
Spinach also grows well on balconies and terraces in boxes and pots. In midsummer, at very hot temperatures, it soon begins to flower Spinach can be sown outdoors all year at temperatures above +2 °C. Broad-cast the seeds or sow in rows with 20-35 cm distance. Seed depth: 2-3 cm
In dry conditions and at high temperatures, spinach will quickly begin to flower. Therefore, the soil should always be moist but not wet. Harvest: 6-8 weeks after sowing.
