Spinach also grows well on balconies and terraces in boxes and pots. In midsummer, at very hot temperatures, it soon begins to flower Spinach can be sown outdoors all year at temperatures above +2 °C. Broad-cast the seeds or sow in rows with 20-35 cm distance. Seed depth: 2-3 cm
In dry conditions and at high temperatures, spinach will quickly begin to flower. Therefore, the soil should always be moist but not wet. Harvest: 6-8 weeks after sowing.
How To Grow
Sow 12mm deep in rows 30cm apart. For baby leaves, no thinning is required. For regular spinach, thin to 15cm. Water well during dry spells. Use small tender leaves in salads, larger leaves are best lightly steamed. Seedlings emerge 14-21 days.

How Sow
Sow thinly 5mm (1/4in) deep in rows 30cm (12in) apart. Cover with fine soil and gently firm in. Keep moist.
Care
When large enough, thin out to 7.5cm (3in) apart. For baby leaf or mature plants, thin to a final spacing of 15cm (6in).
