Product Description

Large pale green heads with an attractive spiralling pattern that grows to 20cm. Very tender and excellent flavour. Does best in cooler weather.

This variety is often eaten raw and is extremely attractive in salads but can also be cooked with only a small loss of flavour.

Romanesco grows much like cauliflower, with thick stalks and wide, rough leaves. The central head gets large, and the entire plant can span 0.5 m. in diameter.

Leave a large space for growing Romanesco broccoli, as it is not only wide but needs plenty of nutrients to grow the huge heads.
