Product Description

Semi-determinate variety with a compact habit. Well know heirloom tomato popular in the 1800's producing an abundance of small pear-shaped red fruits. Plant has a compact habit and produces small sweet thin-skinned fruits which ripen quickly. Popular for preserving, chutneys, drying, snacking and use in salads or on pizza. Early variety producing fruit around 10 weeks from planting. Historically they were dried and packed away for winter use in substitute of figs. Pear-shaped, bright-red cherry tomatoes have wonderful, delicious, sweet flavour with a very sweet skin, making this a delightful snacking tomato.
